keep up the good work

We are pebbles washed by the same ocean.
We are leaves brushed by the same wind.
We are clouds moving together.
We are artists.

"Can you imagine being beaten to an inch of death, not even recognizable as yourself anymore"

i saw that you made this comment (and seemed to be strong in your conviction about it...since you reiterated it...) and wondered... Was Christ wondreful because of what he looked like? Does the fact that he was (supposedly) phsically unrecognizable make his SOUL unrecognizable? It seems kinda of odd to me that people act like what they did to him was the worst thing ever... i believe it was a terrible thing no one (and THOUSANDS of others had the same fate...dont forget that) should have to go through. But no matter what they did to him..Christ was still Christ and they didnt take away his soul, the thing that made him who he was. anyway... my point is that we dont love Christ because of his physical being...but his spiritual being. it seems to me a lot of Christians/Catholics lose sight of that fact...

that wasn't my point, i know its not his physical self, but i was making a point to that guy for dissing two people that DIDN't have to go thru what they did, God, and Christ. God had to watch his son die, he did it on purpose, to save us, with his only son. I dunno about you, but i know that if it came down to anyone and my son or wife, i could never give them up. And in christs place, sacrificing myself wouldn't be easy either, sure, thousands died by crucifiction, but Jesus didn't HAVE TO, he chose to, that was my point, he could have called legions of angels to stop all of that, but he didn't he forgave even the ones who did it to him. I haven't lost sight of anything, i was using his physicality to make a point to the guy, because if you try to talk to a strict atheist with spirituality, they simply don't catch on, and you may not get them to ever, but i stated what i stated. and assuming that i have 'lost sight' is jumping to a conclusion, ask if you aren't sure about a statement i make, don't put words in my mouth.
